Seemed pretty clear. No chance at beating Carroll if he wrestles like he did today. I hope he beats the **** out of him. Just not likely the way he’s looked his last 3 bouts
The problem is that Cole at his best, is a poor man's version of Carroll. Carroll will badly outscramble him again.

Cole is just not right! Whatever the problem is, he has been off since the end of the regular season, He is slower even early in the match and has nothing left in the third period. Definitely not the same wrestler as he was at the end of the regular season. Seems almost impossible that he will AA.

Cole's inability to finish a shot is frustrating to watch at times. He's got some work to do on the backside tomorrow and hopefully Saturday. Then he needs to really increase his strength this offseason.
Cole is small for heavyweight. He doesn't have good length or frame to put on good weight, so he is what he is. I said this two years ago but got dogged on by the emotional.

The other twin won't make the lineup anytime soon, so will be very surprised if they both don't transfer. Very surprised this hasn't been mentioned as much as it should. Seems obvious.

Agree to disagree. Have you seen how Carroll has looked lately?

Alright sure. Come back with that after the tournament. He was always a ? For AA.. He has over performed what we expected as an undersized heavy as a freshman. Still very good chance he outscores last years kerk.

Correct. Ideally one Mirasola would be 197 and the other 184. They are just small guys in terms of frame and weight for HWT and 197.

No we didn’t. We aren’t competing against other
teams. We are competing against ourselves and records. Cole lost a winnable match. He wasn’t some huge underdog. He needs a shot to the outside not straight under a guy.
Agree. Must Shot outside Singles against bigger guys for sure….Hard Finishing

He’s got no shot if he wrestles like he did today. For a small HWT it like he’s covered in molasses today
He hasn't looked right since his last match the the B1G Tournament. It's really odd to see. There doesn't appear to be the fire he had earlier.

Jimmy cinnebon the hater is so desperate that he's trolling our undersized heavy
He's always been undersized. What's puzzling is how Cole looked so good to climb to #4 in the rankings and then seemed to have a major regression at the end of the season. I really thought he was turning a corner into a true AA contender.

He makes a lot of weird choices when trying to finish. You're watching and saying "just do A" and Cole does B and gets taken down instead of getting the takedown.

Cole’s brother 197 for us is Very Good. Just saying.
I agree, if not for Barr being so good he would start. The other Mirasola should be at 184 or 197 (on any other team he would be). There just aren't that many 6'0 220 pound heavyweights out there that can be effective (Kyle Snyder being the one exception).

Wont have 10 AA finish in the top 6
2 will most likley be 2-2 and out
What about the championship side of the bracket? Yea. They're definitely ahead of last year given this years team has more champs and finalists.

Honestly I just had Cole placing top 6 at regular seasons end. He’s just been different in the post season. I’d probably wager he’s battling injury because he just hasn’t looked the same as he did mid January on …

I've been thinking that also. Maybe Cole is concerned about an incoming recruit?? Seems to be lacking fire

I was shocked he didn't try harder to hook Kueter's leg on that last sequence where Cole gave up the counter TD. He abandoned the attempt and lost his advantageous position.
