133 R16 - #3 Marcus Blaze vs. #19 Gage Walker (MIZZ)

Period 1:
Here we go! Circling, tying up & hand fighting. Blaze creeps forward. Walker with a half shot. Blaze pushes forward taking Walker to the edge. He tries some snaps & an underhook. Walker reaches for a leg, Blaze counters, but they go out of bounds, neutral restart. Blaze presses forward & reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Blaze keeps the pressure on. More tying up & hand fighting. Blaze takes Walker to the edge again. Walker drops to both knees. Out of bounds & restart. Blaze reaches for an ankle off the whistle, but can't get there. He presses forward & has Walker on the edge again. Blaze reaches for a leg, but can't get there. He snaps & then reaches for a leg again. Walker circles back in, but Blaze cuts him off & has him on the edge again. Blaze snaps & drops to a leg. He elevates it, then catches Walker on his back. Blaze gets the TD & 4 NF before time expires. 8-0 Blaze, somehow. I missed a point somewhere.

Period 2:
Blaze takes down. He pops to his feet, but can't get hand control. He turns & gets a leg. Walker locks through the crotch, but Blaze keeps working & gets a reversal, 10-0. Walker works to his feet & Blaze lets him go, 10-1. Blaze shoots, gets to a leg & works behind for another TD, 13-1. Blaze quickly gets Walker bellied out. Walker works back to his base. Blaze looks for an assassin, but it's not there. Walker works to his feet & Blaze takes him out of bounds, restart. Walker is still down. Blaze goes optional & gives up the escape, 13-2. Blaze presses forward taking Walker to the edge again. He shoots & gets to a leg. Walker lifts around the chest & they roll out of bounds, neutral restart. Blaze presses forward & reaches for a leg, then again, but time expires. 13-2 Blaze

Period 3:
Blood time before the 3rd. Blaze has a bloody nose or lip. Walker takes top? Blaze works to a quadpod, then his feet. He gets hand control & the escape, 14-2. Walker drops in on an ankle. Blaze locks around the waist & then gets to a leg. Walker keeps driving & shelves the leg. Blaze throws in a whizzer. Stalemate & restart. Blaze presses forward. He reaches for a leg, then jumps to the other side & finishes another TD for the 17-2 technical fall.

Davis locks up & tilt, but Hardy works into a reversal, 3-2. Davis gets a quick escape, 4-2. Back to tying up & hand fighting. Davis drops back in on a leg. Hardy jumps over & gets a leg. Stoppage for potentially dangerous. Circling & tying up. Davis drops in deep on a leg. Hardy locks through the crotch. Davis tries coming out the back. He turns & it's stopped for potentially dangerous again. Circling & tying up. Hardy with a half shot & time expires. 4-2 Davis

Hardy takes down. He pops to his feet, but Davis sucks him back. Hardy tries to roll, but Davis stays with him. Hardy works back to his feet, but Davis jacks him up & returns him to the mat. Hardy works back to his feet & gets the escape, 4-3. Davis has 48-sec of riding time. Tying up & hand fighting. Hardy pushes forward. Hardy snaps. He's pickes up the pace now. Hardy drops in on a leg. Davis locks around the waist. Hardy keeps driving forward. Neutral danger swipes & Hardy gets the TD, 6-4. Stoppage & restart. Davis wants a brick, but it doesn't come. Davis is still down. He sits out, but Hardy stays with him & rides out the period. 6-4 Hardy

Period 3:
Davis takes neutral. Hardy picks an ankle. Davis locks through the crotch. Davis gets another neutral danger call. They're rolling on the mat. Hardy locks through the crotch & tries a lift. Stoppage for potentially dangerous, neutral restart. Hardy reaches, but Davis fights him off. Circling & hand fighting, 50-sec left. Hardy picks an ankle & quickly finishes the TD, 9-4. Stoppage & restart. Davis is still down. He works to a quadpod, but Hardy is riding heavy. Davis grabs the head, but then looses it. Davis gets to an ankle, but Hardy hangs on for the win.
