Blaze got a free pass and still lost, Davina was better although I think there was lock hands by Davino but that's his free pass.

Edit: After further review no locked hands and a correct rulling on the brick, it was a good match Blaze made more of a commitment to attack and almost worked just couldn't finish his ankle pick...great match!

Davino never scored either! I thought Marcus wrestled better that match. He was a millimeter away from getting the Td in the first period and took ground all match.

Well to be accurate. Luke did repeatedly follow McGowen off the mat as McGowen repeatedly sprinted backwards off the mat only to be caught by his coach and forced to go back out.

I don't know what McGowen was doing in that match, but he truly embarrassed himself. I can't believe the kid I watched wrestle that night is in the NCAA finals.

Yes, but it’s a learning experience for him. It may be a blessing in disguise for him. Go get third and work on some things for the future.

I thought Marcus wrestled way more aggressive in regulation that time, but Davino earned that W. Tip my cap to him. Marcus gotta refocus and come back ready tomorrow. Kinda feels like Beau and Mendez in years past wherein Beau had chances, just couldn't quite capitalize.

Yes. I believe that's what they were looking at.

Blaze had one excellent chance to score a TD and could not finish. Davino had the TD. Determining a TD is getting like what is a catch in the NFL. Your naked eye sees it and says that is a TD and the rulebook says no.

Steiber can shut up about being robbed of a TD, sans a bad call, he is a 3 timer.

Well, one could say the same about both Blaze and Davino. Davino has shown to have a winning advantage in the ride-outs.

Blaze made the same mistake last time around, its only a 30 second go. IMO its not advantageous to get to your feet and just block hips.

Davino had a year to redshirt that’s a big difference. I think Marcus is the better wrestler and if he redshirts next year he’ll come back a lot stronger.
