Sure did look like a takedown in SV anyway - Devino had control of the 2nd ankle for at least a full second. They really need to define what "reaction time" equates to in seconds because the review lasted forever primarily because there is no definition of what "reaction time" is in real time.

Marcus pushed the pace but Davino is a hell of a wrestler. Jax gets at least 2 tds in the finals, he looks unbeatable.

Bummer about Blaze, but remember guys: In Pennsylvania, insurance fraud is a crime.

It feels like a case of two wrongs make a right. It looked like a TD in reg for Davino. Then Davino grabs Blazes' left leg with his left hand at 12 seconds to go then drops to both legs and does not move above the waist for 7 seconds. Both wrong, but the right winner.

Off topic a bit but I dont want to see what the wrestlers are doing back stage. I want to see what they are doing on the mat. Lets make sure we are catching the wrestling matches ESPN.

Blaze needed his best to beat Davino and couldn’t get it done. Don’t understand how these young guys struggle with the basics. Stand up and flail your arms rather than breaking the grip of the guy holding you. High school basics aren’t needed when you are great for the most part. Announcer said in another match this morning that young guys need time to work on that part of their match. Held true tonight. Only needed 21 seconds to get out. Wow.
Next matches for blaze and Davino are tough.

Definitely a takedown. Don’t know why blaze didn’t keep the split and instead brought his ankle back in.

Blaze got screwed. That should have been another stall call on the edge. Before Blaze actually lost the match.
I really didnt agree with the first one Davino got. But I wanted that call also when Davino backed out.

Marcus needs to do more. He has taken one legit shot in 3 ride out matches. Sorry, but that's lousy even by Iowa standards.

Davino never scored either! I thought Marcus wrestled better that match. He was a millimeter away from getting the Td in the first period and took ground all match.
And yet Davino has ridden him out in 2 straight TBs. Doesn’t need a TD to win because he’s confident in TBs. Marcus not so much. Is he getting closer? Sure, I guess. But so is Davino…

I thought Marcus wrestled way more aggressive in regulation that time, but Davino earned that W. Tip my cap to him. Marcus gotta refocus and come back ready tomorrow. Kinda feels like Beau and Mendez in years past wherein Beau had chances, just couldn't quite capitalize.
So often we see someone with a leg on the edge while the defender does the hurler stretch(own head kissing own knee) yet the one with the leg refuses to clamp down a nearside cradle? Im mystified. Most recently it appeared Marcus had that opportunity. Then again, what the he'll do I know. Lol
