On the stall call -- I believe it was called on Taylor for touching off the mat. If, as a ref, you feel that a wrestler does that to get a stoppage, that is always a stall call (HS and college). In the review, it appears that Taylor's hand touches OOB briefly, then he brings it back and locks with his other hand to pull on Robideau's foot. When he does that, he touches OOB a 2nd time.

I've watched the sequence several times. I do't think that either touch was for the purpose of getting a stoppage. However, of the two, the first one was not too related to wrestling, though it's possible (I can tell for sure) that it occurred because he missed something he tried to grab.

Assuming I have it correct why stalling was called, I really could see it going either way. It seemed the ref stopped action (for OOB) after the 2nd incident, which to me was more of a legit move. However, in the official review, they get to look at all of it, and they may have concluded that the initial touch was worthy of a stall call.

Alright. Consider me on the bandwagon. These OKST kids aren't likable and I think I'm over it. ESPN and the officials are not helpful in this assessment.
I don't like Rope-a-Dope due to his "we're all killers" comment after being gifted the semifinal win over Duke.
Really got nothing against Vega, over than wrestling for DT and OkieState.

I was hoping that the officiating would be consistent for nationals. But now I may be more confused that ever.

As someone else has said the PSU fatigue is real. Its not that they win, it's how they win. It is so dominate it's almost not believable. Like it or not we are the new age Hawkeye's.
