I don't know why but I hope Barr runs over to the line and stands there like a doofus with his hand out after he wins this.
why the Eff do we keep wrestling to this cheese dick Oklahoma state style. Don’t let them block, circle and stall. Suddenly Barr is taking his time and letting this bum stay close.

I think since we’ve had more guys in finals and semis that it’s more losses just based on more and also more emphasis on freestyle
197 Final - #1 Josh Barr vs. #7 Cody Merrill (OKST)
Period 1:
Here we go. Circling, tying up & hand fighting. Barr with a big snap off the whistle. He tries an underhook, but Merrill pulls out of it. Heavy collar ties in the center of the mat. Barr with some face taps. Barr tries an underhook to the leg, but Merrill blocks him off. Barr attacks again, but Merrill blocks him off again. Collar ties & hand fighting. Barr snaps. He drops to a leg, but Merrill fights out of it. Heavy collar ties & pushing in the center of the mat. Barr with some more big snaps. Merrill isn't doing much other than blocking off all of Barr's attempts. Barr shoots & gets a double, then finishes the TD, 3-0. Sweet TD! Barr gets Merrill bellied out on the mat & we're stopped for something. Blood time. Cleaning that up couldn't wait until the period ended in 13-sec? Back to action. Merrill works to his feet, then turns & gets the escape, 3-1 & time quickly expires. Thanks for the restart ref. 3-1 Barr

Merrill takes down & gets a quick escape, 3-2. Circling, hand fighting & tying up. More of the same for a bit. Barr shoots & gets to a leg, but Merrill fights him off. Back to hand fighting & tying up in the center of the mat. More of the same for a while. Tying up & hand fighting to end the period. 3-2 Barr, +31-sec RT
Period 3:
Barr takes down. He works to a quadpod. Merrill is hanging heavy on the back. Barr rolls & gets a reversal, 5-2. Merrill gets a locked hands call, point Barr, 6-2. Merrill fights for an escape, 6-3. Tying up & hand fighting again. Barr shoots. Stall call on Merrill, finally. Merrill gets an ankle too & it's a stalemate, neutral restart. Collar ties & hand fighting again. Merrill pushes forward a bit, 30-sec left. Merrill takes Barr to the edge & shoots. Barr counters & they go out of bounds, 20-sec left. Merrill charges forward. Barr gets a stall call. Out of bounds & restart. Merrill shoots, but Barr circles away & time expires.

I think the 75% in the semis this season is a little below the standard. That said Duke got screwed. Should have been 7 out of 8 which would’ve higher
