Let's be fair here. After the attempted head twist head lock Mitch spent the rest of the match physically abusing the hell out of him on national television. Caliendo was expecting the treatment Bo gave Moore. Pick him up, pat him of the back and not embarrass him in front of his mom.
The current rules are fine. Officials just, in general, need to be less tolerant of it. McGowan would be Exhibit A. There are many other examples, but McGowan was egregious.

Yeah I actually agree. Looking at the big picture, let's go ahead and start all the way back to the beginning.
Now look at the present: 6 and 2 in the semis, and 4-2 in the finals and basically that's pretty damn close to the overall percentages.
Actually 4-2 tonight is 66 percent and we were around 60 percent coming in to this season.
TBT, he wasn’t really doing much to try to get out before the stalling warning.
Marcus is going to have to step up several levels in Neutral Offense if he's going to beat any of these guys - Jax, Devino or Seidel.

Well ladies and gentleman this college wrestling season is over. At least now I can spend my time fishing.
I saw an exchange between him and a guy on a wrestling Facebook page last year that bothered me.
Guy posted, admitted he’s an old guy and wasn’t a jerk about anything, and said he longs for the days D6 wrestling had kids from D6 rather than all over the country. Jax jumped in, acted like an entitled punk, made fun of the guy, then all the Jax bros piled in.
Turned me off of him. For context, none of the other McCort guys jumped in on the guy.
This record is in danger next year. Very very much so.

So that data point can’t be right first undefeated freshman with a national championship since 1947? Didn’t Cael do that in 1999?
From North Carolina. Moved up here 5 or so years ago to wrestle for Bishop McCort with Bassett. Bassetts Dad recruited him really. They even had a year penalty for the wrestling program
Levi won his first title when he was 2 months older than Forrest is now.
Of course Levi had made the NCAA finals the year before.
He was a redshirt freshman, they're saying first TRUE freshman.
Think they were both 19 though. So.
Jax was dynamic all year but personally I think what Vega did was much more impressive. He just doesn't get the pub like hs kid Jax gets.
It’s tough for me to disassociate him from Bishop McCort, which makes it tough for me to root for him.
Great. But, for the first time in several years, this dynasty has some competition. I am not glass half empty, but Oklahoma State is coming. Gonna be fun. Although, I must say, as much as DT was an offense first wrestler, his guys like to slow it down. Is Dake on his staff ( LOL)?
