He’s played with fire all year, can’t be surprised it bit him again. For someone who can supposedly get a take down whenever he wants, he sure doesn’t seem to want one very badly.
How you can be in that room, listening to that coach day in and day out, and have zero desire to play offense is a head scratcher.
Dee needs to learn from this and come through the backside. He can help his team a lot and he has the talent to score a lot of points on that side if he chooses to do so.
He's obviously spent too much time hanging out with Daton. 100% reminds me of him.

We will learn a lot about Dee and his future time in Stillwater on the backside. Sadly I don't expect much heart.
In an age where reaction time gets all the press, Dee didn’t have control long enough for it to be a take down. He completely reverted back to his usual tendencies. Night and day different from his round 1 match when he spent no time on his knee and was aggressive throughout. It’s a habit he will absolutely need to overcome this summer.

Anybody defending that performance needs to get their nuts checked. Completely different wrestler from his 1st match. When he sits on his knees for over a min he's going to lose
He better figure it out before they recruit over the top of him. If you’re scared to wrestle 7 minutes because you have a weak-*** tank, not good.
We probably would have been better off going Facundo, Ryder, Brayden Thompson at 165-184 instead of the way we did it.

Dee frustrates me because he by far has the widest disparity between his talent and his results thus far. Hope he fights his rear off on the backside, and has a come to Jesus moment this offseason.
Has to win what, 4 straight to AA now with a guy who wrestles off a knee and gasses out in the 1st period of matches. Just don’t see it
he was more embarrassing than Davis from PSU. Crying on the mat? You don’t win matches with zero offense. He is such a good talent but is scared to death to let loose. He has turned into what I thought the Panda was at the beginning of the year. But Panda has heart. Come Dee, let loose on the backside and go for broke.
