Guys can we please quit the name calling and stick to the wrestling - please, please. It is not very enjoyable to read some of your comments about each other. Let's stick to talking about the matches and I suggest we wait and see how things go before we turn on our own.

Yes. I'll apologize for that. Also, I want to admit to being an "Obsessed with #35" poster. I don't care about anything but winning our next team national championship. I am very firmly not in the "best possible team" every year camp. I would have no problem going 7th, 9th, 1st, 10th, 8th, 5th, 12th, 1st, etc. Rather than 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd. And I know this is probably not a popular take. I don’t mean to offend people with that stance.

I've thought to myself I shouldn't even use the kids names because it's not personal. Example: the wrestler at 184 - love the kid but he has to be replaced/upgraded if we want #35. Penn State changed everything. It really sucks but reality is - if a wrestler at any weight isn't an instant NC contender with a Top-5 floor we have to look to recruit over them.

How about we go win every year.

PSU has Davis and Mirasola two weights this year. Two guys that are outside of the standard you are claiming is needed to win 35.

Exactly. They are working on it. There’s no one more up to it than DT.

Cody wins 2 to 1 but could not get a takedown, won on a stalling point. Had several good chances to get a takedown but missed them. Doucet won 4 to 2 but the 3rd period he was stumbling around and could have been taken down.
So in simpler terms, they won.

Maybe take it easy,, not every OSU wrestler can be as much of a badass as you were.

Not for long. Davis is for sure gone. Mirasola will be Top-5 next year or gone the next.

And are you watching this tournament? Good Lord. 🤣🤣

i’m sure you’ll say the same things to dee’s face mr internet tough guy
I’m an actual fattass and fully believe I could out fatass him out with my extra 50 pounds because I know he couldn’t get to my ankles. He has to figure out angles because he’s not strong enough to leverage strength. He’s young so hopefully he gets past his ego to sort it out.

I really don't like you either. There was not anything really negative about my post just stated a fact but you are such a jerk you had to do your sarcastic routine for the 50th time.

No one’s defending the performance but the people implying he won’t/shouldn’t be on the team next year are ridiculous
He’s the only wrestler I remember that has been openly booed by the fan base in GIA. This isn’t a “Fr” thing. This is a “he’s an idiot” thing.
listen dumbass

pumping the brakes is not defending the performance

i said he wrestled a tacticaly poor match

which is critical without all the out and out venom being spewed
Tactics have little to do with it. A lot more of a heart, and selfishness issue.

Just got back to the room.

You guys can sure make a mess?

Dee, well, as disappointed as you guys are, I watched a kids heart break…that’s enough ******** from people that haven’t toed the line in the biggest event in this sport.

Was it bad, yeah, it should’ve been better. Or even a lot better? But, it’s done and so is the rough talk on Dee for now.

On the rest…not terrible.

Troy was an absolute blast! That was so big! Huge, huge monkey off his back! But he can’t rest, he’s got a tough one to get to a tougher one. But that win was super sweet!

Jax, you better not grab your phone, grab a beer or look for your can of snuff. I came all the way to Cleveland to not see him do much besides shake hands. Some people are watching history, I’m looking for my can so far.

Vega, well, he’ll give you time to grab a beer. Then he makes you chug it. He’s nervous, it’s kinda obvious, but then he goes inhuman at a whistle. His family is a ton of fun too!

Swiddy is a banger, and there’s a feeling going on with him? It’s a mission, and he’s sending bombs. It’s been a treat watching.

Lando, another freshman is being a freshman. I think it’ll be a different guy tomorrow.

Cody has jumped up some. He’s in the hunt guys!

Konner has been planned against, but he’s doing fine.

Today didn’t fit the standard, but we also had the toughest draws…bar none. Our tournament starts over tomorrow. If it goes bad, folks can complain. If it goes well, let’s enjoy that!

Man, I picked Troy but gotta be honest I didn’t think he would pull it off. That was one ballsy move. I loved it to because Robinson was all ready to start a stall party.
Dude, you better bring two cans just in case with Jax.
Tough matches tomorrow morning but I feel good about 125, 133 and 141. Hope Casey is ready to mash tomorrow, I think Van Ness is beatable.
Robideau needs to attack and go for broke. I think Larkin wins 157.
Hope our 3 in the cons are ready to battle. Ryder is showing lots of grit.
I think Kody is going to get it done.
Konner has a tough one in the morning, I like Trumble but hope Konner can pull the upset.

Enjoy the tournament!
