First, I'm far from an expert in wrestling and I thought Lockett showed tremendous mental strength in gutting out that win; however, to me he looks lost on how to generate any type of offense. Also doesn't look like he has the strength of some of his opponents. Appears to be really quick and hopefully he can use that to develop into a wrestling that can generate offense.

Our first 5 wrestlers were so impressive in the quarters. Troy got the 1st takedown and was in control the whole match. Very good in neutral and good riding and good on bottom. Jax destroyed his opponent with lots of takedowns and used the ball and chain again for back points. Big match tonight. Vega was very aggressive on his feet and finally got the takedown for the win. He is patient and seems to always make the move in the end for the win. Swiderski gave everything and battled and battled in that match and just didn't get turned around fast enough. Swiderski had several good shots where he just could get control for the takedown earlier in the match. Robideau wrestled so smart and just wouldn't quit and wins the match with a second takedown. He evened the series with Larkin. Great win just wouldn't take no with that last takedown.
So frustrating watching the Lockett match where he shot a lot but as soon as he got in the leg he started losing position and hanging on. He was dead on rideouts but got the reversal and back points for a big win against Nebraska. I hope he can now stop wrestling scared. That was a gutty win when defeat was right there

JFC lol

Dee survives, so glad he got out

Hopefully he will learn and get better. I see him trying to bull opponents around. It just doesn't work as well at D1. Need a bigger playbook at this level and more stamina so he can fire off more shots and rest on his knees less. Easier said than done but at least the improvements are easily identifiable. Still, can't help but be proud of the hometown kid for taking lumps and stepping up. This season has been a big test for him.

Doucet with almost no chance. Tough match for him. Hope he can make some noise in the consolations.

We still have one more round of consolations. The three that started in consolations this morning. Have one more match this session. Doucette will wrestle his first consolation match this evening.
