Did anyone else see Robideau’s younger brother after he won? Kid looks like he’s a good 3-4 inches taller than Landon, and he’s pretty dang good as well if I’m remembering correctly?
Tony Petree(sp) and Brock (ops guy) on the left.
The girl is Jessica, can’t think of her last name? She is a workhorse and takes care of a TON! Standing beside her is Brandon Mason, AA and team doc.
Petro and Brock. Top 2 on the left?
Sorry. Who’s bottom left two guys? Thanks ChasePetree and Brock
I agree. Just trying to understand what it is he is crying about.Cael and his staff are not innocent in the tampering realm. Heck their success started in a very gray area of RTC. He's there because they have a very wealthy donor base that skirted the rules of the NCAA for the longest time.
Lincoln won state in Minnesota at 144 and it is his 2nd title. He is a junior next year. I think he lost in Fargo finals in the last moments, so he is a standout and if he is wired like his older brother we have to get him. My memory of Landon was he was very good at a young age but not the best. His senior year he jumped a level and of course jumped another level for Nationals (Great timing).Did anyone else see Robideau’s younger brother after he won? Nick Montani s/c Coach. I’m not sure on the other one.Sorry. Who’s bottom left two guys? Thanks Chase
I don’t think they’re going to. Has something to do with title 9Just curious has there been any talk about adding a weight class between 197 and 285 - seems like a very gap compared to the other weights?
You all come see the wrestlers tonight at the MBB game. Let’s fill it up.
They might wanna take down the basketball players for lack of effort..It'll probably be weird for our young guys to see Gallagher so empty.
we were closer than you think….not that far away boys!
That’s what all the HS kids are doing these days.Someone needs to have a talk with our equipment managers. Jax ran out in a golf polo.

seeding plays into this
ask svn who ran into one helluva an 8 seed
I believe Barr redshirted his 1st year at Penn. St. and so we are talking about his 3rd year versus our true freshmen. It took Barr 3 years in the Program to be a National Champ.A lot of it is youth too. Sergio, Landon, and Cody are already great at winning. They are going to get a lot more dominant in the coming years. Look at the improvement Josh Barr made from freshman to sophomore year.

What a weekend. Stoked for the program and these guys.
Get better, get healthy, fill in a couple holes (particularly HWT) and let's work on DOMINATING next season.
Biggest difference between OSU and PSU right now is the ability to put out bonus points early and often. We won but they jumped out a 40 pt lead QUICK and we started clawing back.
Final Tallies:
3 Winners
1 Runner Up
1 4th Place
1 5th Place
2 8th Place
Obviously there's a couple of spots you'd like to see advance (165/174) and potentially get all 10 in the AA status but all things considered, helluva season. You can see the tides starting to shift off of PSU a little bit.
FWIW, I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of tournament basketball. I devoted my entire TV time to this!!

Not really sure what you’re trying to say. They just set the team scoring record for the 3rd year in a row and could have quit after Friday night as they had enough points (135) to win it all. The Oklahoma State points are being taken from other programs at this point, not from the team that has gone 137, 172, 177 and 181.5 (or whatever it is), unless they otherwise would have been over 200. Other posts have shown the Oklahoma State points from a few years ago. At this point it is those teams that were (way) ahead and are now (way) behind that are first on the clock to figure out what happened and what to do about it.
Merrill is a RS FR.I believe Barr redshirted his 1st year at Penn. St. and so we are talking about his 3rd year versus our true freshmen. It took Barr 3 years in the Program to be a National Champ.

Ya I think he meant why are you trying to defend PSU dominance when no one doubted it. The discussion has never been PSU is falling, it’s only that we are rising and catching up as you did support. While PSU isn’t falling or losing momentum they are definitely looking over their shoulder now and if anyone denies that there’s not point arguing with them.Quite simple really. The tides have shifted everyone else but Penn State. Penn State and Oklahoma State combined for 310 or whatever total points. Penn State set the team scoring record for the 3rd year in a row. Kind of hard to say they are losing momentum. But when another team moves from 40 to 131 in 2 years at the same time, easy to say the tides have shifted off everyone else.

I think VT is trending in a great direction. Obviously Iowa and Nebraska are potential but the future there isn’t as promising as what VT has coming in. ASU if they don’t keep the Larkins is in trouble. ISU if portal rumors are true. But to your point no, they aren’t going to score 180 anytime soon so I think it has to be a mix of us taking more from PSU (like in semi finals and finals) and other teams producing more. 130-140 should be the race for first. If PSU continues at 180 (Or any school does) no one can beat that. Not arguing, just wondering in 2 years is it Penn State and Oklahoma State at 180 each and everyone else at 40? Or, is it Penn State, Oklahoma State, School A and School B at 120 each? The first 2 made their move 15 and 2 years ago. Does anyone else have a move to make? Not that long ago Cornell put out a lineup with Vito and Yianni, world class talents. A year ago they were looking at Knox and Vega in their future lineup. Not picking on them, just making an illustration. Are all the marbles going to be in 2 baskets? Just curious to see how this plays out. Can anyone else elevate their game/program and, is so, who?
Some of that is true BS. Jax set a OSU record. I mean........PSU had SEVEN number ONE seeds.........their first matches were all against guys seeded 32 or 33. That makes a HUGE difference. One of their guys racking up points was at 197.....bonus points every match this year, but in the final against Merrill he won 6-3.I mean that explains it perfectly, PSU goes for the kill. It’s about points for them. That’s how they separate. We have to learn to finish people. It’s not enough to win 3-1, 5-2 and so on. Don’t get me wrong a win is a win, but if you want a team title in this day and age, you have to bonus every chance you get.
