Some team stats YTD, rank in MLB

Pitching
Quality Starts 5/30
ERA 17/30
Opp. Batting Avg. 28/30

Batting
Runs 22/30
Batting Avg. 24/30
On Base% 27/30

There are issues with Pitching, but it's mostly a story of poor Offensive support
Offensive numbers certainly not consistent with Payroll

Dombrowski brilliance. Replaced a garbage .600 ish OPS RF with a garbage .600 ish OPS RF (Castallanos - Garcia). Garcia’s defense is far better, but he is a black hole at the plate.

Half steps like that are not going to get it

They should have just kept Casty at $20 million. Now they’re $30 million in for Garcia.

I disagree. Garcia is such a significant upgrade on D over Casey. Plus, he's faster running the bases. Yeah, Garcia hasn't performed as well with his bat as many fans would like, but the season is still young. Some of the Fightins started out really slow offensively and fans were burying them, and many of those same players have broken out of that slow start. Let's see where things are in September with Garcia.

It’s not my money, so watching Adolis gun people out at third and home is worth it in my eyes haha.

Of course, the bat needs to improve. I’m still hopeful it will when it heats up.
