7 back of the Braves and they were losing before a rain delay. Starting to track them down in earnest

It’s funny to even type this, but after the past two playoff performances, I genuinely don’t want the bye. I think keeping the rhythm and hosting a walk card series is better for this team.

Shoot, if they can’t win a wild card series at home, they weren’t gonna win it all anyway.

Painter getting smacked around. Singles, walks, doubles, Home Runs, a little bit of everything.

From a Philadelphia Inquirer article, by Scott Lauber, after today's game, and Painter's demotion:

"Painter will search for his fastball in Lehigh Valley. His replacement isn’t apparent. The triple-A rotation consists of Tucker Davidson (6.50 ERA), Alan Rangel (3.74), Bryse Wilson (6.29), Brian Keller (4.35), and Chuck King (4.02). Rangel, the best of the bunch, started Wednesday night for the IronPigs and could slide into Painter’s spot."

Almost have to give Rangel a shot cannot be any worse than Painter or Walker.

How long will Tanner Banks be allowed to throw BP in real games before he’s sent packing? SMH.
