7 back of the Braves and they were losing before a rain delay. Starting to track them down in earnest
Time for Painter to be sent down.Painter getting smacked around. Singles, walks, doubles, Home Runs, a little bit of everything.
6.5 back of the Braves- lost both games yesterday.
Almost have to give Rangel a shot cannot be any worse than Painter or Walker. From a Philadelphia Inquirer article, by Scott Lauber, after today's game, and Painter's demotion:
"Painter will search for his fastball in Lehigh Valley. His replacement isn’t apparent. The triple-A rotation consists of Tucker Davidson (6.50 ERA), Alan Rangel (3.74), Bryse Wilson (6.29), Brian Keller (4.35), and Chuck King (4.02). Rangel, the best of the bunch, started Wednesday night for the IronPigs and could slide into Painter’s spot."
He thought he was making a point. The Phillies are flawed, but the Braves are leaking serious oil.6.5 back of the Braves- lost both games yesterday.
I’m starting to embrace this. The Painter saga shows that (almost) no prospect is untouchable. If you can trade potential for proven production, you’ve got to always seriously consider it
Yeah, I’m late to this too. The Dominic Brown story awhile back should have convinced me earlier - he was a can’t miss super stud and we had a chance to land some studs for him but held onto himI’m starting to embrace this.
Lost the game started on Tue that ended on Wed and lost the Wed night game as well. 6.5 back of Atlanta.
