Bring him and Wood up for the bullpen and trade for a bat.
Who knows? Braves have a difficult time with the Padres; the Orioles have been hot and even the Mets have been playing better lately. Sometimes it’s not WHO you play; but WHEN you play them. Also saw that Ohtani won’t pitch Wednesday against the Phils.
Could wood be any worse than all the No. 5 starters? Who knows- but he could be better.
They’ve got to move Turner off SS. He’s killing them. Bad error tonight (and should be 2 save for a homer scorer) and he doesn’t have insane range to counteract his failure to make the routine plays.
Move him to the outfield and Sosa can play short.
Man, Pages botches one. I’ll take it
Hypothetical trade scenario. Turner, Nola, and Painter for Witt and Wacha. Maybe a mid range minor leaguer from KC too. Do you do it?
