Arraez just had a horrible ankle twist avoiding a tag at first. Not good. Arraez was called out by the home plate umpire as out of the baseline and he was avoiding a tag on an errant throw. Ridiculous. This home plate umpire is a friggin tool.

There is so much pressure on the starters to be perfect given the awful hitting.

Turner has a .673 OPS; OPS+ of 80. Dude is stealing money. -.2 WAR so even a bog standard replacement level guy is better. No wonder the Dodgers didn’t fight too hard to keep him

Realmuto is hitting like a 70s era NL pitcher in the 9 hole - no kidding. .207 BA, OPS barely above .600

This team doesn’t deserve to make the playoffs. If they do, then it’s a waste of time. They’ll get swept out and be on the golf course in a couple of days.

Yeah, they've won 6 straight and scored 48 runs; the Phillies scored 18 runs over the last 6 games and won 2 of 6.
