Dang, Harris got lucky on that infield hit with two outs and then the flood gates opened. Harris, wow, incredibly fast to first base, Turner never had a chance.

100% on the manager. Why do managers go against what they've done all year. Duran in the 7th is a panic move. Duran back for the 8th is acknowledging that management did nothing to improve the bullpen. Can Duran go tomorrow? Mattingly channeled Rob Thompson circa 2025. Not an easy 3 days for us PSU/Philly fans!

Oh, Duran pitched the 7th? I had not known that, I took a walk and got back in time to see the bottom of the 8th.

For a guy who is supposed to be elite he sure hasn’t been playing like it this year. I’m sure some seamhead is going to come at me with a bunch of supporting data to say otherwise.

it just feels like every time I’m watching him. He is giving up hits and can’t close out critical games.

The first out of the 8th, Olson lining out to Duran, seemed to shake him. He made a hell of a play there but, wow, that ball got back to him quickly.

Donny baseball - take MacFarlane out after one inning - all-star closer for the 7th, 8th and 9th, this is not good - 2 outs, 3-2 count on batter in the 8th with a home run hitter up next - that's right the closer over-throws a pitch in the dirt and batter walks - then home run for ATL and Phils lose

Does anyone recognize Mac Farlane can pitch for more than one inning, and you keep the home run hitter at the plate with no one on board the bases -- Ducks on the pond come home and score !!

Yeah, I know how many outs there were. Throwing to second base on the bunt where the Brave runner had the throw beat by a mile, that should have been another out, in that situation you go to first. Unless you’re 100% sure you’ve got an out, you never go to second base on a sac bunt, runner at first, no outs.

Holy cow, game tied.
