I received a text from a QND coach about Carbondale. I said "cool, long drive for them, don't hear much about Carb football" in response. Never asked about Wilmo... Coach M never supplied a reason. QND doesn't care about Wilmo. And that's meant from a stance of needing them to fill a schedule. And if you need to hear it, we'd lose 9 out of 10 to them, which is what made the idea of Wilmo ducking comp so funny to me personally.
Saying that to tell you that you are technically right though, I don't know why QND isn't playing Wilmo. My comments were in reference to a situation last season or maybe even two seasons ago now involving Loyola and an open date. A team got scratched from the ESL event and a handful of posters were clambering that Loyola should take the game. At some point the joke was made that Loyola was "ducking comp" not wanting to take the game on short notice. It was a running joke for maybe 12 hours and then forgotten about. That's all I was referencing man... Hope that helps brother. I guess I thought all that was obvious when we were talking about title-less QND and multi-time champion Wilmington. lol
