Should had the numbers during the start of the Devaney era.

It looks good on a lot of things. On these? No. I think if the numbers were smaller it wouldn't hurt to look at.
Jesus, throw in some razor thin helmets and Nebraska can honor one of Bill Jennings' teams.

Who cares? After we go 5-7 this year they will be thrown in the trash and they'll bring back the old uniforms again. Like they did with the 2002 uniforms.

Like the jersey as well and they still look better than those awful adidas 2002 uniforms that they sold us on. Those were horrendous.
I don't like the jerseys, but that is where I am at. Just don't touch the helmet. At this point, I'm surprised that they haven't.

I think this year's are probably supposed to be some kind of tribute to the ones around the time of your avatar...numbers on the sleeves, stripes on the shoulders.
Those uniforms are so ugly that it drove me insane and I took my eyes out with ice cream scoopers.
Eh, not crazy about these uniforms but they're not ugly enough to get riled up about. Put a better product on the field - instead of losing to any opponent with a pulse - and nobody will care.
Agree, lateral move IMO. I'm just glad Adidas and Rhule didn't f*uck it up worse.
What I'm not crazy about is removing the N to make room for a corporate sponsor. Couldn't they move the Adidas logo centered above the numbers. This would allow space for the N and logo
The alternates always look bad and I feel bad for the players-pretending to getting excited about them. It’s awful
Looks like I'm in the minority that likes them... subtle change that has a bit of modern flair combined with a traditional look... I Dig it... Now, they will of coarse look a TON better with W's attached... GBR!
I think you massively underestimate how clueless these kids are. They like anything different and/or new.
I’ve seen how most male Husker fans dress for games… they really shouldn’t be critiquing what the guys on the field wear
I like the numbers on the shoulders. I go back and forth with the font of the numbers. Reminds me of the retro look which is cool, but every week?? I’ll have to see them on the field during a game 
If Adidas is paying us more money so we can pay more players, I'm all for it. At this point, after 25 years of crap, I don't care about uniforms. It's loser talk unless it pays.

According to Google AI: Only 4 Top 25 teams college branding programs use Adidas, and that includes Kansas and NC State. Boy, that's truly Elite company we are in - KU and NCSU. The other two are Miami and A&M. Woohoo.
Meanwhile, using Nike; Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Teas, Oregon, USC, Penn State
(Every other team we wish we were as good as): Under Armour, Jordan or NOT Adidas.
Our school leaders think like losers - and we wonder why we're stuck. We can't even get this easy switch to happen. I've scratched my head for decades and wondered why our Admin keeps screwing everything up. Not only with football coaches, but the easier decisions like THIS.
