How would this board feel about Spencer Lee jumping over to the Cowboy RTC from HWC? Some rumblings online about him doing it so curious what those here think
People have been suggesting he finds a new place to train for a quite a while. Don't get your hopes up. We would welcome him with open arms of course, but he's probably in line to take over for Brands as head coach after this Olympic cycle, so I don't think he leaves

Coby is a monster, but I’m not sold on him being able to dominate guess on the mat, he's very short. Honestly I could see Ross using his length and riding Merrill before I can see coby putting a good ride on Dreshaun
As someone said above, "Pushouts are staling in Folkstyle"

Addendum to an earlier post with reference: I don't think Konnor matches up well, at all, to Coby.

I think chances may be slim that KD gets a MS at this point. I have no clue how hard it is for Dreshaun to gain weight but after this weekend if he didnt get it before, he understands now. 20+ pounds will make a world of difference for folkstyle.

Side note: the word was this cat was weighing 235 a few weeks ago. Possibly getting in some daily RTC workouts took it off him?
I hope Dreshaun can gain weight in the weight-room but some people can't gain weight. When I was in my late twenties we joined All-American and I worked out 3 days a week on weight machines for a little over a year. I went from 155 to 145 and then to 169 lbs within 3 month (155 was the most I'd ever been).

Not a pound after that but I kept getting stronger (kind of like Bruce Lee) and when I got on the ball field, it made quite a difference.

This. Just because people can site some cases where someone bulked up rather quickly doesnt mean that can/ will happen for everyone. I remember talking to Luke Surber when he went to heavy. He was hitting the weights, had quality trainers and he still couldnt get to where he wanted. He told me it was actually no fun trying to eat so damn much to get heavier and maintain that weight.
