Iowa 4 star commit Keller Daugherty will be in Iowa City this weekend for an unofficial visit. Keller will be an active recruiter, as he looks to get 5 star point guard Cayden Daughtry to join him in the 2027 class.

Ben and two assistants were at Monarch Academy in Kansas City today to see 4 star point guard Jaxson Davis.
Other schools/coaches there: Ohio State, Creighton, Ball State, Toledo, Kansas State and Akron.

I honestly could see us landing Jaxson Davis. I feel way better about that reality. I just don’t think we are going to be able to compete with the big programs for CD.
Daughtry has cancelled his UConn visit
Miami landed 2 pg’s out of the portal one from Villanova and the other from Michigan both starters at their former teams. At Iowa guaranteed starter. Just sayin.
Ben has some Magic getting recruits. I have a good feeling about Daughtry. No more losing to Purdue, Illinois, Michigan and Michigan State. I have season tickets over the Losers tunnel at Kinnick. Let's eat garlic and boo them down as they come out - the girls from Ames. The boys and me at Brown Deer Golf Club.
Jalen Davis has scheduled a new visit to UNC for October 3rd and changed his Iowa visit to October 5th. Sucks we won’t get him to experience the OSU game at Iowa.
Jalen Davis, a 6'3" four star PG, is the #18 overall prospect and the #6 PG in the class of 2027.
He has locked in 5 official visits.
NOTE that Iowa is the only visit not occuring on a weekend.

I do not think it is about competing with the big programs, but more about when he wants to commit. Ben is not going to wait around if Davis wants to commit.
I doubt Jalen ends up even getting to Iowa City for a visit. No info. Just with him bumping North Carolina into the timeframe he was going to visit, and moving us back. Hopefully its just good news that we will be getting either CD or Jaxson
Returned home today. It was reported earlier, the Iowa coaches would be visiting him at home this week.
Some photos from his visit with Brad Banks, a cousin of Daughtry's dad, being his host. Hope BB is able to work some magic for us.

Only that his ultimate goal is to win an @EvilMonkeyInTheCloset NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
