Agree, I think we are just 1-2 bigtime recruits away from a top 5-ish roster.

I am hoping we have a top 5ish roster this season. Like most seasons everything has to fall into place but just saying.

Top 2027 recruit Sienna Williams is down to six finalists, she told Rivals.
Not overly concern about getting a commitment for 2027, CB and her staff will probably secure two top 20 players this fall. There's a lot going on with the 5th year of eligibility that's going to be difficult with HS recruiting going forward. JMHO.
You can never have enough shooters and PG's. I would like to add another PG and another shooter or a true5.

UNC has 14 women on the roster and all retain at least one additional year of eligibility. So on paper we have only one scholly available.
it is possible that one ore more of the graduating players could be encouraged to take their 5th year elsewhere; this was a norm during the COVID era.
and of course WBB teams have 3 transfer out on average. With that said, it is usually best to replace transfers out with transfers in, so you know what holes to fill. (Unless you know way ahead of time during the HS recruiting cycle someone who plans to transfer out.)

This is a very good point. Base on your comments alone, I can see how this can force or speed up a high school recruit committing early instead of holding out in the past if they want to fill a roster spot before the transfer portal opens up.

Wilson-Manyacka would be a huge get. Add in any combo of Williams, Savoury, Ojo or Carter and we would have a top 3 if not #1 recruiting class.

Nation Williams' off the court personality fits in well with CB and team. If you watch some of her videos on and off the court she would be a perfect fit.
Ivana and Nation would be like building a Dream Team with Kate and Nyla here.

Coach needs to land a truly dominant player. Maybe Nyla or Kate ends up being that type of player. Only time will tell. It would be nice to finally have that go-to player in crunch time to get a bucket or draw a foul. She’s getting that type on campus for visits. Just has to close. 
Qandace Samuels really looks like a baller too. This class has a lot of talent and I think Banghart and staff are well positioned to land some big time pieces. Anxious to see which top recruits from ‘27 are in the Best Blue this time next year. Ivanna and Nation
