Kasky committed to Missouri so he did't visit either. The safety from Mass. committed to Indiana and didn't visit. That might explain Harris a safety visiting.

After CD lost weight. Davis weighed about 340 originally, but after he committed to getting in better shape I think he played around 315..Great size, Carl Davis starter kit?
Absolutely, at least the upperclassman version. Just pointing out he's another young man who had some growing up to do and it took the staff a couple of years to get him to realize. Kind of similar to the George Kittle story.
Yebit didn't visit this weekend due to travel issues. I wonder if the staff could get another visit scheduled with him later because it seemed as though they were making serious noise in his recruitment
I think that's commit number 11, so the '27 class should be about half full. Not bad considering the class hasn't even begun their senior seasons yet.

I have followed recruiting for over 40 years, if I had a dollar for every recruit that had travel issues as an excuse, I'd be able to take a few more fishing trips. Could be weather related, you never know, hope he does reschedule.

Johnson could be a tough get. Looks like another Noblesville, IN. OL already committed to Indiana.
I don't think Mcdermott's commitment to Indy has much sway. The hawks stand a pretty solid chance with Johnson. If the hawks can pull in Johnson and Kuhn that's a great finish to the solid OL class. Britt the WR out of Memphis commits on the 11th, I'm assuming he is Mizzou bound.
Hope they are right. Edit: Visits Misery this weekend. Has already been to Indiana and MSU. Then hopefully the Hawks win the day. Athletic tackle prospect.

Getting Johnson and Kuhn would be elite. We're in the top 4 for Britt who announces tomorrow but I don't think we'll land him

He has his final visit set up at Debby this weekend, sounds like he is planning to commit following his official visits.
If he cares about development or a pro career Iowa is the obvious choice.

Something very wrong with recruiting the RB position. We have a Joe Moore award level O line yet can't get any RB to commit? I'd think 4 stars would be lined up to play RB behind Iowa's elite O line. What is the problem?
Kenyon Norman is committing today and Iowa's in his top 3. I personally think he'd be stupid to not commit to Iowa but I do think we will land him or keyon thomas
RB room looks stacked to me, stars are relative. Coaching evaluation trumps stars.
I don’t think our sales pitch is super appealing to most recruits.
For some reason IOWA desires to be different and really, REALLY leans into the “You’re gonna have to do your time and earn it” pitch.
This has long been a problem. It’s where Wisconsin was beating Iowa at their own game for over a decade. They kept land on their highly sought after RBs and we kept missing or the ones we did land ended up in trouble (Coker, Wegher).
