Next year the NCAA moves the 3-point line out to 23ft 1.75 inches, the international line. I think the change is long overdue and will produce a much more well-rounded game and players. Can't wait.

I agree. I don’t think we’ll see a drastic dip or rise in numbers. Things should be about the same. You may see better spacing, but with the lane still the same size and no “non guarding technical”, even that is questionable. I’d love to see a bigger lane and the NBA’s defensive technical rules thrown in there eventually.
Would have been nice to had this rule in effect for this past year. Lane was so clogged up, it's amazing RJ and Zion were still able to carve space out as often as they did.
Great rule change for extra spacing but it will have very little impact (if any at all) on the current era being 3pt-heavy.
No one guarded us out to the current line. They weren't following anyone not named Cam out any further anyway.
