Can't believe the Cats tip off in less than a day. Loyola Md will likely be the fourth-easiest team on NU's schedule, topped only by Chicago State, Sacred Heart and Lewis (not a D1 school).

Ranked #257 in KenPom, in the same area code as #268 Holy Cross.

I fully expect this game will go as smoothly as Mississippi Valley State last year (rather than like UMass Lowell the year before that). No one should play more than 29 minutes. Charlie and Tino should see the floor at the very end with Ash, Rap and Benson. Cats put up more than 80 points and win by 25+. Collins will emphasize the need to keep the foot on the gas from the very start of the season, given the compressed schedule.

I hope Charlie scores. With the recruits Collins is getting, Charlie is never going to play minutes that matter.

I want to see an Ash-Gaines-Hall-Ivanauskas-Benson lineup late in the game.
