They’re working on Kasak’s right leg with 1:09 to go. He’s leading Henson 4-3. It looks like an ankle issue.

CousinAt 97Kg, a Morales is entered. Must be Lisa’s brother.
Right. Bartlett might be embarrassed by not being aware he was behind at the end, but he wasn't embarrassed by Bassett.Bo won 1-0 in a match where Beau thought he was winning when the time ran out

I would not expect any USA Wrestling event to be anywhere else for the foreseeable future—I don’t know the details, but they went to the trouble of developing a new platform rather than staying with track/flo….Are the brackets anywhere but “USA Bracketing?”
Yes, no Ono. No why’s known, ya know?It might have already been posted.
But no Ono today?
Henson is redshirting this year as well.70kg SF- Tyler Kasak vs. Caleb Henson
Period 1:
Tyler's one of my favorite wrestlers & I'm going to miss seeing him in the line-up this year. Here we go. Circling & tying up. Henson pushes forward. Kasak goes 2 on 1 & drives Henson across the mat & out of bounds, 1-0. Circling & tying up again. Henson pushes forward. Kasak drops to his knees, then circles back in & they work back to center. Tying up & pushing. Kasak pushes forward a little. Henson pushes back. Henson gets a passivity warning. Head tapping, then tying up. Henson tries a throw by & slips a little, but Kasak can't take advantage. Back to center circling & tying up. Henson gets a 2nd passivity call & goes on the clock. Henson tries an underhook. & drives Kasak across the mat. Kasak counters & pushes back to center. Kasak gets a shot clock point, 2-0. Kasak pushes Henson near the edge & they break. Henson circles around the mat, then shoots, but Kasak blocks him off. Stoppage & restart. Henson with a hard slap. Stoppage, warning & restart. Henson pushes Kasak to the edge. Kasak snaps & circles back in. Henson looks for a shot, but time expires. 2-0 Kasak
Period 2:
Back to action. Circling, then tying up & hand fighting a little. Kasak gets poked in the eye. I thought the ref awarded a point to Kasak, but it doesn't go up on the board. Back to action. Henson pushes forward. Kasak circles back in. Henson takes Kasak to the edge again & drives him out, 2-1. Back to neutral. Henson reaches for a low leg, but can't get there. He drives Kasak to the edge, then tries a trip & drops to a leg. Kasak is fighting him off & they go out of bounds. Henson gets a step out, 2-2, but that was close to a takedown. Tying up in the center. Kasak shoots, then drives forward hard & takes Henson out, 3-2. Henson shoots. Kasak counters & circles back to center. Kasak pushes forward now. Henson reverses position & has Kasak on the edge. Kasak turns the tables & takes Henson out, 4-2. Back to neutral. Henson pushes forward & has Kasak on the edge again. Henson shoots, Kasak sprawls back, but steps out, point Henson, 4-3. Kasak is down on the mat injured. The trainer is blocking the view, but it looks like they're working on Tyler's right leg. 1:09 left in the period.
Kasak is up & we're back to action. I'm not sure what the injury was. He might have just taken a shot to the jewels. Kasak is back down on the mat & it looks like a lower right leg issue. Kasak is back up with a heavily taped right ankle. Henson pushes forward. Kasak circles around the edge. Henson keeps coming, but Kasak fights him off. Henson shoots & again. Kasak grabs a leg & elevates it, 30-sec left. Kasak gets Henson hopping on one leg. Kasak takes Henson to the edge. Henson is trying to turn in, but Kasak finishes the TD on the edge, 6-3, as time expires. What a match by Tyler! It would have been nice watching those two in the 157-pound college championship this year, but it's PJ time.
Tyler Kasak DEC Caleb Henson 6-3
I created my free account. hate to have to have a thousand accounts for stupid stuff that shouldn’t require an account. I guess now they have my email address so they can make money off of it. I guess I’m just a grumpy old guy.I would not expect any USA Wrestling event to be anywhere else for the foreseeable future—I don’t know the details, but they went to the trouble of developing a new platform rather than staying with track/flo….
If I had to venture a guess, Flo tried to leverage their monopoly on tourney management software to get/retain broadcast rights, and USA Wrestling had enough. Hopefully the platform will improve over time.I created my free account. hate to have to have a thousand accounts for stupid stuff that shouldn’t require an account. The site actually looks pretty good and loads pages quickly.
He did post a screenshot of his roster listing (w/ Junior eligibility) on his instagram story today. But that could just be his pride over being in the pride officially.Any chance Ono not going in this tournament is a tip off that he is going folk this year ?
Only applies to true freshman which he is not of course.Maybe Ono gets 5 free matches as a red shirt, because it is his first year wrestling in the states .
Maybe he hits an open next weekendSo any word why Ono not wrestling?
The software won't change events being on Flo.If I had to venture a guess, Flo tried to leverage their monopoly on tourney management software to get/retain broadcast rights, and USA Wrestling had enough. Hopefully the platform will improve over time.
Yeah, I figured it wasn’t to get out of existing contracts—just guessing the change had to do with leverage moving forward. The software won't change events being on Flo.
Flo has all the major UsaW freestyle events on FLO thru 2028 I believe. This time around the Farrell wasn't part of the contract.
