I didn't realize that there wasn't a general, catch-all thread, for CFB news that takes place during the season. Consider that this thread. Some stories are big enough that they warrant their own thread. And PSU stories shouldn't be in this thread. However, for miscellaneous stories from across the CFB landscape, please post them here during the season/postseason.

He might lose his job, so stupid. Top 10 pick at worst 1st round (2QB taken). Cost himself 10 of millions of dollars. He will be lucky to be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round next year with the QB’s coming out.

Not 100% portal but Dante Moore returning to Oregon for 2026
I'd imagine Raiola knew this could happen - but he'll be sitting for a year.

I know he's been projected top-5ish in the draft, but Moore was definitely going to drop after that performance against Indiana. He was also shaky vs Texas Tech and Indiana the first go around. And they very rarely let him throw the ball down the field 20+ yards. Seems like a kid that could definitely benefit from another year.

Agreed with everything
I think Raiola's dad convinced him to sit and learn...see Nix...see Moore. He should go early in 2028.

He won’t be a first rounder next year though. Could drop more like Allar and other QB’s that decided to return last year. Who do you all see passing him in this draft, Beck, Simpson? It’s such a weak QB class this year.

Mendoza will go first but I'm not convinced anyone else is a first round lock right now. Going to see a bunch Day 2 and early Day 3 as a ton of these guys have high upside but are raw and/or poorly coached

I agree with your assessment comment about Dante Moore. Moore didn’t look great against Penn State and looked even worse against Indiana. That’s why Moore has decided to skip the NFL draft and come back for a year to redeem himself.

ZERO % to do with the portal, which is why the post, and replies to it, were removed from the portal thread.
Fair enough...my logic was it impacted the portal with Raiola and didn't want to start a new thread for it to be deleted lol
I tried and failed...
