Iowa from the line. That’s ball game. Iowa is mostly a jump shooting team. RU would drive with no calls but Iowa got all the FT attempts. Not sure how that happens
A foul can pretty much be called on every play, especially with the way the cylinder is defined. Can’t begrudge Iowa for our fouls against them they capitalized and hit 25-27. What drives me crazy is the inconsistency of no calls on our end. We are making plays at the basket and getting mugged, where are the calls there?Iowa from the line. That’s ball game. There were quite a few fouls called on Rutgers while Iowa was just inbounding or bringing the ball up the court. Fouling that far from the basket is beyond dumb. Its rather clear that Rutgers commits too many fouls on defense and doesn't get enough fouls called on offense. The coaching staff needs to review game tapes and determine what techniques could be taught to the players to change the discrepancy in fouls being called.
