PS has 32 transfers in, 46 going out, about 22 grads / NFL draft, 12 incoming recruiting class.
Spreading NIL is difficult with these numbers.

The biggest problem is JF's staff told the 26 and 27 class that their scholarships were no longer
available, really one of the biggest jerk moves I've ever seen . That wiped 20- 30 players off the
board. I'm sure some roster players were told to move on also.

MC has to balance roster, recruiting 26 & 27, transfer portal, and current roster within this budget.
He also has to rely on his current football geographic knowledge.
Stop the ********. Franklin didn’t tell any recruits a damn thing after he was fired in the middle of October.

They got numbers 1 and 8 transfer portal TEs Brahmer and Burkle, the number 8 transfer portal QB Becht, the number 4 transfer portal CB Cooper, the number 5 transfer portal IOL Riker, the number 9 transfer portal safety Neal, the number 11 transfer portal RB Peoples, and the number 11 transfer portal LB Bacon.
We literally have people complaining when we sign the #1 TE because he was from ISU and then complaining that we missed on another big time player because we didn’t sign the #37 WR.

This has been discussed extensively on multiple PSU message boards. Some of the parents of these kids reported it as well. Franklin was not a nice guy upon exit and had moles working in the program after his termination that subsequently moved with him to VT. CMC has a huge task ahead of him in terms of rebuilding all of this.
No several parents said that there was little or no communication with them after Franklin was fired. THAT failure was on Kraft for not making sure someone on the staff was in charge of trying to salvage the recruiting class.

Staff allegedly. Someone's father verified this. On a neutral stance how do you get almost
an entire class to de-commit.
I really don't give a crap, it is what it is, don't have anything against Franklin, like Harbaugh,
and Andy Reid he needed a change, and so did the fans.
Looking forward to the MC era.

Little isn't "no communication" and others could have reached out for him
Regardless the 2026 class is irrelevant

I hear Gannon has some real studs. Maybe we can swap some more D2 kids with our new “moneyball” philosophy.

Hot take if he doesn’t go to Tech I believe he’ll come back here.
I don't see anyway that happens. We have the QBs Campbell wants. We're not going to pay him either.
If anything he's lurking to see if a team like Miami comes calling now that they didn't get Leavitt. Or the other teams chasing Dylan Riaola now that he went to Oregon

I don’t have anything against the positives Franklin did at PSU, but the thing does speak for itself. The whole class de-committed. It seems more like sabotage by the former staff than negligence by Kraft. It just has an aroma.

AD has to tell the coaches to recruit? I'm thinking they should be able to figure that out in their own.

A division 2 lineman. Seriously wtf are we doing
I hope we haven’t blown our $30 million already. I haven’t seen one recruit where we can say “holy sh&t, I cannot believe we got that guy.” Either we don’t have as much NIL money to spend as we were told or we are spending a lot of money on players without much hype. I understand that hype surrounding players does not necessarily translate to success, but sometimes it does. We just don’t seem competitive for the top non-ISU players
