Guess we'll fine out how good Campbell is at evaluating talent. Maybe he doesn't care about losing some of these guys.
Just checked the portal, there are at least 20 DT and 20 DE currently in there that are better than the two we had enter. Just need to get a couple of them.

If the former douche NCAA president wouldn’t have been so adamant about players not getting paid, at least all of this could have been put in a box that could be modified. Instead it is the Wild Wild West on steroids and meth.

He doesn’t care and I don’t blame him. The Penn State defense was soft and below standards this past season.
Time to remake the roster and bring in more size, physicality, and talent.
Let us know when they actually improve the size, physicality and talent.
The D definitely stepped up their game the second half of the season.
Agreed. Their best outing was against Indiana after Terry Smith ordered Knowles to put more pressure on the QB. On the other hand, the defensive performance against Rutgers was nearly a disaster.
Another young man who was injured during the season and couldn't make up ground into the depth.
I really don't give a sh*t anymore if all these guys enter the portal. Why should I make an emotional and/or $$$ investment in individuals who have nothing invested either.
How about we wait until transferring kids start picking their new schools during the actual portal window before passing judgement? Can't improve until you can actually have kids commit starting Jan 2, 2026, can you?
Hopefully Wafle, Adirika, Cook and Andrews all develop. They are not all going to develop into B10 starting caliber by next fall. We have Blanding and those 4. I would not count on Kaleb Artis who may not even return.
We need to go out and get 2 or maybe 3 high level DTs who are big body guys and physical. Campbell needs to work with Kraft and his GM to ensure we have the money to get two or three proven DTs. This has to be one of our top portal priorities.
