The 2025 Ironman Tournament is scheduled for Dec. 12 thru 14.

The following PSU commits or verbals are registered for the tournament:

- Jayden James
- Grey Burnett
- Gavin Mangano
- Clinton Shepherd

Please use this thread for all pre-tournament, in-tournament, and post-tournament discussion about the '25 Ironman.

126 pounds R64- Grey Burnett vs. Ryan Hockaday (BROW)

Period 1:
The mat 10 feed just started. Burnett is up 3-1. Burnett snatches an ankle & finishes another TD, 6-1. He has a cheap tilt locked up, he's getting swipes & then gets the fall!

126 pounds R32- Grey Burnett vs. Kaden Potter (SCE)

Period 1:
Circling & tying up. A bit of a scramble to start us off, but no scoring by either wrestler. Collar ties & circling. Burnett drives forward with an underhook, then drops to a leg & finishes the TD off the screen, 3-0. Potter is still off the screen & hasn't returned to the viewing area. Now he's back. Looks like it might have been a headgear issue. Burnett cuts Potter, 3-1. Underhooks & collar ties with some snaps. Potter shoots, Burnett counters, gets a leg & finishes the TD, 6-1. Burnett hits a tight waist tilt & adds 4 NF, 10-1. Burnett hits another turn, but they go out of bounds, restart. Potter is still down. Burnett looks for a turn with a half nelson & gets 2 NF more, 12-1. & time expires.

Period 2:
Burnett takes down. He gets the escape, 13-1, then drops in on a leg & finishes the TD & the 16-1 Tech

144 pounds R32- Gavin Mangano vs. Frank Nitti (ICCA)

Period 1:
Tying up & hand fighting. Nitti shoots & finishes the TD, 3-0. Mangano hits a reversal, 3-2. He locks up a tilt & adds 4 NF, 6-3. Mangano hits another tilt & adds 4 NF more, 10-3. He's tough on top! Mangano has Nitti bellied out on the edge. He locks up another tilt & adds 4 NF more, 14-3. They're off the edge of the mat & time expires.

Period 2:
Mangano takes top. He locks up another tight waist tilt & adds 4 NF more for the 18-3 tech

Period 1:
Sheppard pushes forward, throws in an underhook, drops to a leg & finishes the TD, 3-0. Sheppard cuts Vasas, 3-1. Sheppard hits a quick TD, 6-1, then cuts Vasas immediately, 6-2. Sheppard with another quick TD, 9-2, then hits a tilt & adds 4 NF, 13-2. Sheppard gets a chicken wing & hits another turn, but no swipes, as Vasas rolls through. Sheppard adjusts & adds 4 NF more for the 17-2 Tech.

I was surprised Nitti was able to wrestle after the beat down that Elliott Ness laid on him.😎
