Mariota is hard to prepare for. Best if JD played but Mariota would be a more than adequate replacement.

Nick Bosa done for the season with torn ACL... that hurts the 49ers chances.
That’s a huge loss. Bosa is one of the guys who can’t be replaced. I’m not sure the Niners were a contender regardless, but this hurts.
High ankle sprains are troublesome as well. Take a long time to heal and gotta make sure its truly healed before cutting on it again. Otherwise he will be laid up another 4-6 weeks. Not sure Dallas was going anywhere this year, their defense is just brutal other than their CB's.

Cowboys Starting OG Tyler Booker out 4-6 weeks with high ankle sprain as well... Cowboys weren't going anywhere this year and whatever success they were going to have just go that much harder....
