Interview with Byers:

Q: good to be back at Rec Hall
- yeah, we had time off over the holidays, and it's good to back to it

Q: missed it, and the answer

Q: talk about the mental approach this season, and how that's developed
- gratitude. I got hurt 2 seasons, and now I know what it means to be present, compete hard, and enjoy it

Q: how excited are you guys to get into more challenging matches down the road
- this is the most fun part outside of the tournaments. I'm just excited to be able to travel and compete

Q: Kerk starting off
- what I missed most about the break was missing the guys

Q: how excited are you for the stretch run
- I don't think you can measure it. I just hope we put on a good show

Nothing against Shayne, but what a giant opportunity missed -- we get an extra year of Carter, and he should be the post-match interview every time because he'll say anything.

If PSU won't do this, then our elected representatives in Harrisburg need to step up and do their job.
