Quick review of brackets — No Sidun, no Howard, no Kenny, no Amato.
I posted on the Iowa boards a few days ago that Amato wouldn't be going.

Paul did who's #1 and wasn't going to Super 32

Saw that Keegan Bassett is the #3 seed at 113. If all goes to chalk, he’ll have Karenbauer in semis.

If you can’t find someone of interest in this field, you’re not trying.
Sorry. I don’t have extensive knowledge of High School kids with PSU interest.

Was hoping someone could help with a list of a few names for me to keep an eye on.

Here are 2 results from R16 (so far) that caught my eye:
113 Brayden Wenrich Northampton, PA (PA) DEC Traevon Ducking indianapolis, IN (IN), 3-2
113 Cody Clarke Buford, GA (GA) MD Braiden Lotier Camp Hill, PA (PA), 14-3

Wenrich is a 2025 PA state finalist and barely squeaked by here. Lotier is a 2025 PA state champ and got crushed. And both are from power programs -- Northampton and Bishop McDevitt.

Really glad we have Cael figuring out who should be starter vs depth candidates at PSU, and how these guys stack up at a national level. Because it's not nearly so easy as "pick a bunch of PA state finalists and champs." The talent is everywhere.

There’s a bracket buster in 113 in the form of unseeded Jorge Rios of California. Opened with a tech then edged Karenbauer 3-2 and has continued to be on a tear as he now sits in the quarterfinals opposite Erik Klichurov (IL). From what I can find, he took 5th at U17 Pan-Ams in 51kg for Mexico and 3rd at 106lbs for CIF states

Samuel Sanchez beat him in their semi match at the California state tournament this year. Even though Sanchez pinned Rios in the third while on his way to the tech, Rios wrestled him fairly well. Rios countered a throw attempt by Sanchez, got the TD and nearly took Sanchez to his back in the process. Anthony Garza from California is one of the quarterfinalists also. He took third at state at 113 pounds this year.
