O’Farrill looked great in his semi. Pinned Sarni in the second period. He’s pretty funky on his feet and super tough to take down. Fun match to watch. I know it’s been commented that he’s training some at NLWC. Is he being recruited by PSU?
Rios took out Keegan Bassett to make the finals at 113. Quite an impressive tournament from the young man this weekend
Herring takes 2nd. 1-0 loss to no 1 seed. Got rode out period 2..gave up escape to start 3rd. Got in on a single leg late in match but couldn’t convert.

My take: Dekraker did just enough to win, and it was effective, but that’s all. Herring got in on the legs a few times, but his opponent would roll, get Herring’s legs and be content to chew up the clock. On top, Dekraker stuck the legs in and used a parallel ride without any risk of a turn, again, working the clock. Not a very exciting match but he won.
