Sidun vs Zinkin for the number 1 spot. Zinkin pinned Munaretto earlier in the night
Sidun with a great first period. 2 clean doubles
and a 6-2 lead
Zinkin Takes down in the second and gets an escape. 6-3. Sidun with some great defense.
Sidun with an escape and a beautiful hi-c. Td and backs to go up 13-3!! Escape Zinkin and he goes high flyer. Almost gets it but Sidun scrambles out. 13-4 final!
Really great performance by Sidun. Zinkin heading to Okie St so he better get used to losing to PSU

Zinkin got taken down by Munaretto before hitting a bottom roll and pinning him. Correction, he handled Munaretto before pinning him.
Sidun doesn't wrestle the same style on top. Not susceptible to that roll ... so what's left? Takedowns.

He's gonna get revenge on Sidun from Doc Buchanan finals earlier this year. Should have won it the first time around. Will definitely take it this time.
Not good. Raney looks to be really hurt. He’s in a lot pain. Hopefully he’s ok but I doubt this match continues. He does default and gets carried off the mat. Looks to be serious. Awful for a really great kid

Zinkin has gotten really good at fighting off his back in Stillwater
Munaretto was giving up size. His normal defense and scrambling locks were quickly broken, which i’ve never seen happen. He’s a good leg rider and Zinkin pretended like he was wrestling his little brother.

Penn State wrestling commit Landon Sidun solidified his No. 1 ranking at 120 pounds with a big win at Who's Number One.
Any word on what happened with Raney’s leg? I watched the replay several times trying to figure out what exactly went wrong, but I didn’t see anything super abnormal (i.e. knee or ankle going the wrong way). It looked to be his non-padded knee. Some people in the comments on twitter were speculating it was his Achilles?
