Kentucky would never hire Reed. Unlike Pope, Reed never did anything substantial here.
The person who will invite Cal back to BBM will be Mark Pope. And it will happen within a decade.

I mean who knows what the hell Reed Sheppards post playing days look like, but if he were a good coach I wouldn't cry about nonsense. Glad to know you think John Pelphrey and travis ford or sean woods were top of your list
I am among those who hope that doesn’t happen. But by all accounts Mark Pope is a stand up cat and natural leader.
Ahh come on. If the fans can welcome back Pitino after coaching frickin Louisville, they can welcome back Cal. The last few years notwithstanding, he brought the program back to an elite level when it was down in the gutter.
I think Pope has been sending a pretty obvious message that the Cal era was not Kentucky basketball. I don't think he has anything against Cal personally, but I'd be willing to bet that he isn't a fan of the way Cal was running the program. Pope is a nice guy, and would invite Cal back at some point down the road. But, he's clearly sending a "we're hitting the reset button" message. And I freaking love it!!
