Well that's a real bummer.

I heard either Flo or BEG this past week picked Crookham to win it all. I don't think he has a full healthy season in him. Even so, I am also not convinced he is the same terror he was in that weight class as 2 years ago. Although still elite he looks like isn't fully back and with the extreme talent in that weight class I don't think he can beat at least 2 of the top 4 back to back. Even healthy he looks like a 3rd or 4th IMO.

For the record, I see a very similar story for Meyer Shapiro.

Wrestling is a very punishing sport where strength, skill and strategy can't overcome weak joints or chronic injuries. A sad fact of reality in this case.
