Ahh the season has started... lovin' it already.. :D

Figured I'd bring back one of my traditions and evolve it. Anyways feel free to report some info in regards to your team's or a team in your area's opening day turnout in terms of total numbers. It takes a bit for Max Preps to have rosters; I love to get an early estimate on program sizes. It helps more than people realize.

You can also list team's practice schedules and I'll keep em updated on this post. Only team I know 1A wise going right now off my head is East Surry. Feel free to report when you all can from Pilot :).

Tarboro has 43 on varsity (2soccer kids trying out for the kicker spot will make us 44.) and 45 on JV.

As the father of a former two-time all conference kicker, I find it a little amusing that posters don't count kickers in their numbers. But let me remind you that, in your championship season, your whole season will likely hinge at some point on the snapper, the holder and the kicker doing their job.

Dogtuff Murphy could field 60 players. MICS only needs 30, studs that is. That will make you think y'all are wearing ankle weights. Ol Rich's prediction MICS 56- Murphy 21. 56 is only cus we take a knee

I agree if you suit up with team your part of the team. Regardless of what position you play. If thats the case you shouldn't count the 15-20 who never touch the field. Cause most teams only play a hand full of guys.
