I can see Cherryville being a bracket buster at number 12. Despite four losses to tough, higher-classification opponents—Stuart Cramer (7 seed in 4A), Burns (4 seed in 4A), Lincolnton (8 seed in 3A), and Shelby (2 seed in 3A)—they still scored 72 points across those games.

Expect Cherryville to ruin some home playoff nights in the near future.

They have a good path to the 4th round. Alleghany is too hit and miss and I'll never put any stock into Community School of Davidson. I doubt they'll beat Ablemarle.

Why won’t you put any stock into CSOD? I watched them play against Corvian and I was impressed. That game coulda gone either way.

i have no clue what they’ve done outside of that game - but against Corvian they looked just as good as any team I’ve seen out west.
