I went to the Wallace-Rose Hill vs Northside game primarily to see how I thought the Horses would match up with WRH. The game was much closer than the score indicates.The score at the end of 3 qtrs was 12-0. NS completely controlled the 3rd qtr with 2 possessions but still did not put any points on the board. In the 4th NS appeared frustrated by continually shooting themselves in the foot primarily by continually not being able to effectively excute the center/qb exchange and inaccurate passing.(possibly brought on by the qb being rushed after having to field those snaps) Honestly I'm still trying to figure out how the Monarchs beat the DarkHorses Monday night, but the scoreboard said they did. Take nothing away from WRH. They're basically small but play bigger (small except for a couple linemen) but they're very quick and physical. Still I didn't see anything on either side of the field that the DarkHrses couldn't play with but the Horses are 0-3 and its time to quit playing and start winning which I think they're very capable of doing. Good luck to the Monarchs in their new 3A conference (good luck against Havelock) and Bulldogs, the DarkHorses will look forward to meeting you at the dogpound in a few weeks!
