The defensive coordinator made adjustments that went from allowing BYU to do whatever they wanted to scoring 3 points in the second half until that pass. That wasn't on the D coordinator. That was on the Dbacks who were all standing in the endzone while a receiver stood uncovered in front of them.

Watch the Jordan Westerkamp hail mary catch. Most coordinators do it that way. We had coverage. Our players screwed up.

I would agree. Open season on kickers. But in this instance, his miss didn't mean anything.

I really want to defend him, but after everything I read during the offseason about him improving and firmly taking hold of the #1 kicking job, I really don't know what to say. Those 2 misses today weren't the only reason we lost, but they certainly played a factor.
