Well then by all means, scrap the running game. Because we've certainly never had two pass plays in a row that didn't work.
Actually I agree with you. Needed to try and run it there.

The announcer's comment "Gerry just gets lost back there...". Pretty much sums up #25's year.

have you watched TA in his career .. he is great until it comes to crunch time .... yes the correct call was to run the ball for the simple reason that your QB has a very high likelihood of doing something incredibly stupid at the most critical moments in a game
I get it, and I don't disagree, just a little harsh.

All year we fail to understand any kind of stack formation with the WR's. Time and time again we fail at that. That is coaching.

Except the last couple runs that got absolutely blown up

What game are you watching?

Our last couple runs went for 7, 6, 12, 1-TD, 7 and then a -2 run followed by 3 straight pass plays. That's Danny boy for you, one bad run and he gets pass happy.

We seem to be doing well on the ground this drive.

Then as a coach you remove them from the picture by having him hand the ball off.

TA is fools gold ... he plays so well and you think .. damn he finally has things figured out lets let the kid make a play and he burns you in the *** everytime

he is like a puppy that you think you finally have trained to do his business outside and then he looks you right in the eye and takes a big dump on the carpet

You mean like in the Michigan game 2013, or the Iowa game in OT last year, or the Bowl game against Georgia with the 99 yd TD pass, making the pass to beat So Miss because our defense sucked..

Yes he has had his choke moments, but don't act like hasn't made plays in the clutch for us. Maybe if had a defense that could stop it's own shadow. He would reap the benefits of the plays he does make.
