Valid point. Barnhart's big mistake will be painfully expensive either way. Pay a huge buyout or suffer a large decrease in ticket sales. No good options.

I watched UMass play Fl last week and UMass was much better than we have showed.
Our biggest problem on O is the OL.
DL is terrible but its better with Elam out. LB's are mostly just a body out their except for Jones.

I find all this very sad. We have to replace this staff and start all over again from scratch. This isn't fair to the players, fans, boosters or UK. I'm not even angry anymore. Apathy has set in in game 2. We simply have not improved. The general uptick in talent level has been totally wasted. Please UK, never hire a coordinator again. Get a proven HC from somewhere. WKU would make us look like a 1-AA school, or worse. That should never be the case, ever. I'm beginning to think we may be looking at 2-10, if we play ok in those 2 games. This is just really sad. If he has any type of dignity he will resign after the season ends but I doubt it. This will be his last chance at a head coaching gig at least in a power conference.
Thanks to the extension Mitch gave him, unless a booster pays a big chunk of the $12 million, he's here another year.
