Yeah Frederick can really shoot. Gotta respect his game. Looks like Kopp leads him in 3 pt percentage by 1 pt. I’d take anything near 50% myself...
If nothing else happens in this game, we now know what Pete Nance can be as a player and to this program. Sure I like the threes but that drive and dunk was incredible. He needs to bring this intensity and confidence every night.
Iowa’s zone starting giving the ‘Cats trouble during the later portion of the half, but outside of those turnovers, it’s the Hawkeye’s shooting. NU is contesting a good amount, the shots are just going in (or losing out on the long 50/50 rebounds).
Pretty entertaining game so far. IMHO, the ‘Cats don’t look that overmatched against a legit top 10 opponent. Iowa is playing well.
Cats have to keep picking on Garza on offense, you can’t tell me it doesn’t also get in his head when he’s playing offense.
