Continuation to overall trend. Very strange that wages are still stagnate at this level.

That trend started a decade ago because everyone knew Biff would be on the ticket, so it really is because of him.

Ya'll are missing the main point. These unemployment numbers are starting to get into what is referred to as structural or chronically unemployed. These are folks who not only lack job marketable skills, but have a hard time holding a job or finding one because of where they live. This economy is so strong, and in such need of general laborers that even these folks the "chronically unemployed" are finding meaningful work.

Don't let this get lost in all the statistics. Healing the chronically or structurally unemployed means long term gains are set for GDP and wages. As demand for labor increases, pay for workers goes up. The beauty of this particular boom though is corporate taxes are lower and set...companies don't have to worry about labor suddenly taking a big chunk off their bottom lines because their tax and capital costs are certain (remember the corporate tax cuts were made permanent)...so they can just make expansion plans full steam ahead. For many of them, the biggest problem is finding enough workers to fill all of their orders. So they go out recruiting, offering higher wages to attract more workers and those folks migrating upward from lower end jobs frees up slots and demand for the chronically or structurally unemployed.

Go Trump!

Did you also see this poll on Trump after the Stormy stuff with Black Males?

excerpt:
A new poll shows that there was a significant uptick in support for President Trump among black males following tweets from hip-hop mogul Kanye West appearing to back the president. According to a Reuters poll taken April 29, 22 percent of black males approved of the president’s job performance, up from 11 percent one week earlier.

I saw this morning that Quinnipiac's most recent poll has Trump at 51/42 unfavorable. If you've found one that has him at 51 favorable, it's OK with me......meanwhile, I'm perfectly comfortable standing by my initial statement.

And a large % of that 60% are struggling to improve to the degree that they qualify as idiots.
Truly sad that our education system has produced such an over abundance of folks lacking the basic skill of rational/reasonable thought and become willing participants in ‘group think’.

I wouldn't trust polls further than I could spit. There are a good indicator of Trends but remember most of them were dead wrong at the end of the last election cycle.

That's fine. You've all proven you dont trust math or science much either.

BTW, the polls were actually very close to the final result.

Funny how these clowns keep saying polls were wrong in the election. Polls said she’d win by 2-4% and she won by 2%.

I'll just stick to the final votes if it really matters all that much. Polls are meaningless until the actual numbers come in.

End of story? We aren't all that far away from another one if those. Think you'll pull off another one?
Yes....and probably not. The 2016 election is history....Trump won. I've already told you.....Trump won't be running and my early bet is that the Dems will win the WH in 2020 if they come up with a fresh candidate....Much like they did in 2008. I'll let you know who will be in the WH in 2021 after I see who is running.

Yes bigger, and without any help from the Russians. Just keep an eye on those jobs numbers. I know you all say it's Obama's economy but he's not running next election cycle.
