Interesting how they are in 3 different classes. How many other conferences have that span of classes other than the escc?

Only other one I can think of in the large classes might be MSL both divisions? Hoffman 6A and the rest 7A and 8A?

There might be some small classes conferences with 2A, 3A 4A all playing together

off top of my head...NIB 4A-6A...Central State 8 4A-6A..Mid Illini 5A-7A.

Last year NIB had Morris Sycamore and Dekalb in Semis...Sterling and Morris still playing this year...with Morris knocking of another NIB in Rochelle yesterday

Well, I just watched Loyola take out Marist on the Comcast GOTW..they looked pretty darn good..it's a long way to E'Ville, but I have a strong feeling the Ramblers will be up in DeKalb Thanksgiving weekend...and....how about Mt Carmel & Providence coming back after their playoff hiatus last season and now both one win away from the dance??

Congrats Blue fans! Really a great accomplishment. Who do you think has the best chance to bring it home?
I'd say LA, PC then MC.

North Suburban had Stevenson, LZ and Lake Forest in the playoffs spanning 3 classes. Yes I understand only LZ is left.

I did not see any of the games yesterday, but 3 teams from one conference in the semis is truly a remarkable feat. Proof that competitive conference play prepares you well for the playoffs. Kudos!

The Sangamo Conference lost one of their four teams that were in the quarters (3A Williamsville) but have left....Athens in the 1A semis, Maroa Forsyth in the 2A semis, and Pleasant Plains in the 3A semis.

They don't give 5th place trophies.

"If you ain't first you're last"

Add Warren and Libertyville to that list w/ Zion Benton vs Libertyville in a situation where only one could advance. NSC was certainly well represented in the POs

The original question was how many other conferences have that span of classes, and I stated NSC. Also stated only LZ was left in the PO. I kind of thought that would preclude any snide remarks. I guess not.
