Troy not uofl looking very good tonight. Louisville gets dominated and Troy down 28-3 at home.

We give stoops a hard time about usm game. Yes it sucks and we shouldn't lose that, by everyone lays an egg sometimes and we did the second half. Much like uofl and Troy tonight. Outside the first two weeks we have played about as well as we could of played. We lost to the more talented teams and best the teams we are better or equal to in talent. That's a decent year, you are always going to have one game you shoulda won and can't explain (usm) and one you probably shouldn't of won. (Miss state)

All of these expressed interest in UK job when Stopps hired. In fact all wanted job and asked for interviews. Drum Roll please
Mike Leach wanted job when was at Tech and would have left wash st for U.K. He wanted job during jokers failings. Number 22 in ranking, should be higher

Mike MacIntyre. Wanted job, complete dumpster fire that was Colorado football, ten times worse than U.K. Number 10 in poll

Oldie but a goodie. Bobby Petrino, coaching Heisman winner, number 5 in polls.

We are giving games away to ga, so miss, 5 star recruits who live less than 5 miles away are going elsewhere. Having to beat Austin Peay to become bowl eligible. Sounds like we are right on course.

Mainly a jab at the tunnel visioned AD we have, simply too rigid and totally out of touch to make good hires, especially football coaches.

Another bball only fan tryin to stir the ish pot talkin about out of touch. Afraid football gettin more spotlight and doin all they can to disrupt continuity and growth stick to the sport you understand and leave football to someone more qualified.

That train has already left the station. It's past time to move on!

What makes you think that a year at wku made any difference?
It's always how it works in coaching. Same reason Mike Leach wasn't hired right after his time at Texas Tech or Mike price wasn't hired by a big school after his deal with Alabama, Big schools don't want to be the one to take the chance right away. They see how things play out, let time go by so it's much less controversial and then look at making such hires.

Reckless, how? Think their fan's care? Was Cal a reckless hire? How is that working out? Same as with BP.
No way you are comparing Cal with Petrino. One was injured riven to have nothing to do w issues at the schools (Marcus camby/Rose)-and the other WAS outright breaking the law, and riding off in the midnight air on his Harley with a mistress and a new team to coach. Nobody wanted him for a reason.

I like the Stoops hire. I think we're seeing the program move forward.

Exactly. This stuff does not happen over night. This is still a very young team comparatively. Everything seems improved this year including game readiness. Depth is better. Preparation and organization is better,

Big preseason losses on Defense and loss of Drew Barker. I see steady improvement and depth building. It is not that hard to understand. The most disappointing things about this season was the loss to USM and punting.

Great rushing game. Offensive line is showing steady improvement. Toth will be hard to replace.

Like it or not teams like Georgia and UT are more talented and experienced that this UK team. Things are still headed in the right direction.

Screw low life Bobby Petrino.

Funny thing. I heard on Radio interviews on 2 different stations, ESPN Mike and Mike, XM college. Weird but I did not hear about motorcycles or Falcons or girlfriends. I heard questions about playoff, Lamar Jackson, no mention of anything negative except Wakey gate and stolen play book.

It worked out like Jurich said, people will talk about it for 2 weeks and then it's about FB.
He has been proven right.

The reason I bring up these coaches originally is UK was desperate, we have been bad forever, mark of stupidity is to keep doing the same approach and settle for 6 wins a year. It was time to pull Cal out of your hat if you are UK and hire Leach, Petrino or whomever.
Auburn and LSU did not get involved or Miami or other power schools didn't have to because they have tradition and success. Jurich has out maneuvered Barnhart at every turn, they are great in BB, FB, Baseball, women's, expanding stadium, simply crushed UK in corporate sponsoring and donations. UK is lowering attendance and we are dicking around trying to beat AP to get to 6 wins. Time to quit the excuse making and win.
If you want to find negativity on any coach, all you have to do is go look for it. The answer to all of it is winning games.

I can guarantee you that if Calipari had been caught doing what Petrino did 8 months before we hired a bball coach, he wouldn't be the coach. All I am pointing at is the timing. No one was going to touch him 8 months after the fact. If we would have had the opportunity 20 months after the fact and a school in between like UL did, then that is a different story.
So by having a buffer school it wipes the slate clean.
