The night before the game at the hotel where Penn State was staying the power mysteriously went out. The players could not bathe, have their pre game meal, and it was chilly so no heat. That is when I sensed joining the B1G was a mistake. Musburger said at 21-0, "If they (Penn State) come back and win then there is no doubt to who is number one."

They tell a story of playing Oklahoma in Miami in the 1980s. The front desk girl at the OU hotel (Fountainbleu) was friends with a few UM players. She gave them Brian Bosworths room number and they called him all night before the game. Kept waking him up.
