I swear to god, this team walks into damn near every game like they have zero clue the other team, on their home court, is going to play hard.
Then 8 minutes in they start to wake up.
The nonchalant starts with energy are so maddening.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. Teams come in with game plans to limit our actions and it can take some time to settle in, see what adjustments need to be made, and then execute those adjustments. We were able to keep it close while we did all that because the energy was great on the defensive side.

We weren't making shots, that's for sure. But we defended well until we got our wheels under us.

I think UK offense get stronger at the game goes on... due to all the energy required to defend it.

The start of the game the opposing team is hyped up and as of right now have better athletes.
