Absolutely ridiculous that it cost that much to park. Hopefully all the money this year goes to pave hospital road which I know is Township of Piscataway. But it's absolutely embarrassing driving on that road and that's what leads to the arena

Just curious, at what point are people allowed to complain about the price of parking in your eyes?

$32 is obscene
You'd agree you have choices--- don't go, buy season pass, commute. I'm sure there are reasons it's what it is--like RU needs the $. I'd like to pay less or little for my season parking at football and basketball .And who said you're not allowed to complain--- hasn't stopped a soul. It's a pastime. And by the way I was addressing Bac .

I have an APC available for most non conference games.

Will sell for $25 if anyone is looking for discounted parking :)

My season parking pass is still only around $20 per game, $32 per game is kinda high.

32 a game is ridiculous for a 2 hour event. I can understand how football game passes are more expensive with it being a long day, tailgating etc. To charge 32 bucks for basketball and wrestling it's just brutal. I'm sure it hurts wrestling attendance. There's no way it should be more than 20.

football also includes massive cleanup of the tailgating mess which obviously costs $.

bball is just being ridiculous and turning off casual fans

I would have laughed, left and paid that to get a mediocre pizza somewhere…better value. $32🤣
As we all know, there are alternatives to parking in the official lots.

And I assume most season ticket holders get the season parking pass which is cheaper than $32 per game.

If you want to charge $30 a game during conference play and rip off visiting fanbase then ok.

But all the November cupcakes? Come on. It's piss poor from our athletic department.

This thread is exactly why Rutgers is so small time.

Why do you all think they increased the cost? Take a wild guess.

We need the money because our fans don't give so they have to forcefully do it. Good for Rutgers.
Maybe Maryland is the wrong school to compare to, but here is what Maryland does:
"Limited permits are available on-site, the day of the game, for $27 for non-conference games and $32 for conference games and can be purchased with a credit card at the Regents Drive Garage."

At Michigan State, parking is $15 per game, at Minnesota, $12 per game.

I get Rutgers needs money

Forgive them, some were impacted greatly by the lack of lobro sales at ShopRite this year.

The difference between $20 and $32 parking really isn’t that much for the AD over the course of the season when you add it all up.

There’s more harm then good with this pricing as it could keep folks away, especially for $hitty non conference games.

It makes zero sense to be blasting ads for 4 x 4 x 4 at $44 for Football games (4 tix, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas) and then charge fans / families $32 to park for a $hitty non conference opponent for basketball. It’s a 2 - 2.5 hour game with no tailgating.

They should be doing everything they can to get butts in the seats for these non conference games and then get folks to spend money on food, drinks and apparel when at the game.

They want a lot of money for such a mediocre product.
